Dear White Sutton Family and Friends,
As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future continues to feel unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you’re in good spirits and health. We wanted to assure you that our board is doing everything possible to sustain the foundation and continue to provide resources to our community. While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we understand the need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Now more than ever, our community needs us, and we need you.
Despite this year’s challenges, we have distributed iPads to families who needed them, continued to grow our support group, provided easy access to the most up-to-date research for families, facilitated family participation in research opportunities and are still planning a new date for our Houston conference once it’s clear that it’s safe to do so. We will continue to work tirelessly, but we do need your support.
If you’re able, please donate to our foundation this #GivingTuesday. Below this letter are several different ways you can do that. If you’re unable to donate at this time, there are many other ways you can support us! You can fundraise for us using one of the options below. You can advocate for the White Sutton Syndrome Foundation by sharing our mission and website with family members and friends. Even a quick mention of #WhiteSuttonSyndrome on your social media can make a significant impact toward furthering our mission.
In times like this, we’re reminded of how very interconnected we all are, despite any physical distancing we may be obligated to maintain. Thank you all for continuing to be a part of our community. Without you, the work simply isn’t possible. With you, it’s all worth it!
Stay safe and well,
the White Sutton Syndrome Foundation Board
